The Electric Motion ESCAPE “R” is the ultimate mixture of trial and trail. It’s a combination of all our best parts, and when we add in it’s low eco-footprint and almost-silent operation, the gas-powered competition can’t even come close.

The most exciting feature of the ESCAPE “R” is its full-functioning Hydraulic Diaphragm Clutch. Just like a gas bike, the clutch system on ESCAPE “R”lets the rider perfectly modulate the power; it is truly game-changing.

Add in the Hi-Capcity Battery and the seat, and you have a bike that can delivery hours of fun, performance, and comfort.

A significant new safety feature for 2023, all Electric Motion models now feature our Anti-Reverse system. Anti-Reverse keeps the bike from rolling away in the event that the the rider fails a steep ascent. At speeds from 0 to 3mph, the rider can instantly lock the back wheel by pushing the grey FRB button.

For 2023, EM further improved last year’s new control switch by moving swapping the position of the Map and FRB buttons to improve the ergonomics and make FRB easier to use.

On ESCAPE “R”, the Fixed Regenerative Braking system is activated by pushing the grey button on the bottom of the control switch. Pressing the grey FRB button is now easier to do while riding, and when pressed it applies an engine brake force depending of the speed of the rear wheel.

The map button is now on the top of the switch and allows the rider to switch between maps. The LED at the center displays a color that corresponds with the current map selection.

Speaking of maps, ESCAPE “R” has 6 total maps for 2023. All of them have been improved upon for the new model year, and TKO is now available on the Green Map:

Green = Low Power

Blue = Medium power

Red = High/Full Power

3 “Race” maps with TKO:

Green = Low Power w/ TKO

Blue = Medium power w/ TKO
